A stunning Summer’s day today in Coalbrookdale. At last some colour in the garden and the ideas are flowing for more printing imagery. Down at my studio at Fusion, Jackfield I ran a really enjoyable lino printing day with a group of enthusiastic students. As ever the work produced was wide ranging from still life to landscapes. I picked out these images from Anna and Ebony which seem to fit perfectly with wildflower photos taken on an evening walk over Rough Park earlier this week.

This month’s lino printing workshop was a great success. Some very talented students produced a really interesting selection of work. Without any printing knowledge and very little belief in their drawing skills, my lovely workshop people really pushed the boundaries and produced some exceptional work in just a day. Treat yourself to a day out, book now for my 29th March Workshop and see what’s possible!

I am getting super professional and moving into a new studio premises at the end of the month. ‘Fusion’ at the Tile museum in Jackfield is a modern building on the site of the old works, it’s architecture and name reflect the industrial processes carried out historically on the site. Fusion now houses ‘Artisans at Fusion’ of which I will be one. I’ll continue with my graphics and illustration business while combining my new found love of lino printing. I hope to sell framed limited edition prints from the studio and will be running lino printing workshops. I’m really excited and looking forward to the new challenges ahead. Hope to see some of you there!
